Best Way of Reaching Me: Phone or Email is Fine
The reason I chose to specialize in marriage and couples counseling is….:

that many of the issues that were happening in my office with individuals, were really relational issues. After investing in intensive EFT training, I came to fully understand that the attachment that we have to other people profoundly impacts our lives. I instantly knew that I wanted to help my community improve their relationships and find deeper connection.

What you most enjoy about working with couples is….:

I get to help them move closer to the lives they truly desire. We spend many hours of our lives with our intimate partners-- the decisions we make and interactions we have together are the framework of our experiences in all parts of our lives. Think about it-- do you have a great day at work or with the kids, if you and your partner started the day arguing? No one does.

Are there kinds of couples or issues that you work with a lot?:

feeling disconnected (like roommates), having no intimacy (emotional or sexual), couples who have the same fight repeatedly... for years, feeling like one person is chasing the other, feeling like one partner's focus is on work/kids/anywhere else, one person thinking/considering divorce while the other wants to stay, infidelity, adjustment to blended families, and especially couples who start out having a conversation about what's for dinner and find themselves in WWIII.

What are the steps to becoming a client in my practice?:

Email or call my office! 770-451-0404. We will have a brief conversation with you about the reasons you are looking for couples or marriage counseling. If we all agree that we would be a fit, we'll work out a time for your first appointment. During that same phone call, we will get your email address and forward you intake paperwork and directions to the practice.
