Best Way of Reaching Me: Phone or Email is Fine
The reason I chose to specialize in marriage and couples counseling is….:

because relationships, with ourselves and others, are at the core of our human experience. I believe long term committed relationships are perhaps our greatest vehicle for personal growth. I am passionate about empowering couples to live lives of meaning, connection, love and happiness. When committed couples can heal and strengthen their relationships, individual family members and whole family systems can be healed and strengthened as well. The "ripple effect" can be tremendous.

What you most enjoy about working with couples is….:

helping them reconnect with their deepest longings in their relationship; understand and dismantle their conflict patterns; develop compassion and empathy for themselves and their partners; restore trust and security with each other; and build a loving, respectful connection that is fulfilling for both partners.

Are there kinds of couples or issues that you work with a lot?:

I work with many couples who are feeling disconnected, disillusioned, or stalled with their relationships due to career and/or parenting demands, challenges adjusting to empty nesting, retirement, step-families, or the emotional fracture of an affair. When couples are considering divorce, I help them gain clarity and confidence about the direction of their marriage through the process of Discernment Counseling. I work with divorcing couples by helping them learn healthy tools to navigate through this often difficult process.

What are the steps to becoming a client in my practice?:

Call (262-240-0299, x2) or email (cathy@cedarcreekcounseling.com). I like to set up an initial 15-20 minute phone call to find out more about your situation, answer any questions you may have, discuss insurance and rates, and talk about scheduling.
