I see all of us a part of a system, and therefore whatever creates challenges, or pain, is relationship based (relationship with others, with things, with self). It made sense to specialize in systems therapy.
They bring energy to the therapy. Furthermore, it is what I am trained to do, and therefore what I do best.
I don't label. I don't think that way. Every relationship may have unique challenges, but I believe all those challenges have a core underpinning: one is seeking a secure attachment with the other, and neither feel safe enough to get sufficiently emotionally vulnerable to create that experience.
