The reason I chose to specialize in marriage and couples counseling is….:

I have always been interested in relationships; why they succeed, why they fail, why partners stay in them unhappily, why partners break apart without trying to get help. I have had much experience with seeking the answers to these questions, both in my personal and professional life. The dynamics and complexities between a couple can be difficult to navigate. I know that if your relationship is in trouble, it can affect your outlook on everything else in your life. I believe that with help, partners can grow towards each other, rather than away. I believe that your relationship can become stronger than before, and that you can learn the tools to handle the ups and downs.....together.

What you most enjoy about working with couples is….:

Our relationships with others can give our lives meaning and purpose. They can give us feelings of connectedness and safety, but they can also give us pain and disappointment. As I work alongside couples navigating through their toughest times, I am often humbled to see the shift from disillusionment and detachment to being truly being seen by your partner with understanding, acceptance and validation. As your therapist, I will collaborate to find your best way forward. I will be there through the road to reconnection and along the path back to one another.

Are there kinds of couples or issues that you work with a lot?:

I work with couples affected by communication issues, unresolvable conflict, loss of connection, trust, infidelity, addiction or mental health issues to have a more meaningful, satisfying relationship.

What are the steps to becoming a client in my practice?:

Getting counseling can help couples build stronger relationships by improving trust, communication and overall satisfaction. Let’s discover how I can help. Reach out to schedule your first appointment. I'm here for you.
