Best Way of Reaching Me: Phone or Email is Fine
The reason I chose to specialize in marriage and couples counseling is….:

I chose to work with couples and families because I find joy in helping people be able to connect with and understand each other better. I want to see other couples find the fulfillment that comes with genuine, honest connection with those they love.

What you most enjoy about working with couples is….:

I love that it’s never the same thing twice. While there are some general concepts and patterns to look for and to help guide along the process, each couple and individual is inherently unique.

Are there kinds of couples or issues that you work with a lot?:

In general, I work mostly with couples who are having trouble with ongoing conflict between them. I love helping a couple successfully manage a conflict so that it actually becomes a benefit to their relationship, rather than a stress. I believe conflict should ultimately deepen a couples connection, but it can only do that if it is handled well by all involved, and I love to teach those skills and attitudes.

What are the steps to becoming a client in my practice?:

Just give me a call, or send an email and we will discuss if you want to get right to couples therapy, or if the Discernment Counseling process would be best for you before starting with couples counseling. We’ll discuss that, and then simply schedule the initial meeting, where we’ll get into your story more deeply, fill out some paperwork, and figure out the financial aspect of the process. If you want to know more about me as a professional or just as a person, you can see my profile on www.familysolutionsok.com, or do a search for me on www.psychologytoday.com.
