Best Way of Reaching Me: Phone or Email is Fine
The reason I chose to specialize in marriage and couples counseling is….:

because love and marriage relationships bring out the best and worst communication skills in couples.

We discovered this reality as a husband and wife team specializing in love and marriage therapists, counselors, workshop presenters, public speakers, authors and consultants working together for 40 years. Personally and professionally we know the ups and downs of navigating the journey towards more happiness, closeness and a deeper connection.

We have worked hard to live the message we teach—in our marriage and family, and as business partners and are dedicated and committed to sharing what we have discovered personally and professionally with other couples so that they enjoy healthier relationships.

To be successful, we had to overcome the internal and external influences, pressures, and conflicts that often tear love and marriage relationships apart. We are excited whenever we have the opportunity to share these tools with other couples to enable them to also create the relationship of their dreams.

What you most enjoy about working with couples is….:

being a witness to couples turning conflict into to healing, growth and transformation within a safe conversational environment where they effectively talk and listen to each other in a way that they mutually experience true intimacy

Are there kinds of couples or issues that you work with a lot?:

Couples schedule appointments for private marriage/relationship therapy, counseling, coaching, workshops or classes for a variety of reasons. The common theme we have heard, no matter what the couple is struggling with is what one or both partners describe as poor communication: “my mate doesn’t listen to”, “my mate criticizes me”, “I don’t feel respected”, “I’m not happy”, “I don’t trust my mate”, “I feel betrayed”, etc. We are excited about how we support couples to achieve the results they want to experience: a more fulfilling and satisfying connection

What are the steps to becoming a client in my practice?:

The first step is to schedule a private, complimentary telephone consultation with both spouses or partners in the relationship and both of us. During that conversation we spend time together discovering the issues the couple is struggling with that they have not been able to resolve on their own. By the conclusion of the call we desicrbe exactly how we can help. If the four of us feel that working together is a good fit, we then schedule an appointment with one of us.
