Best Way of Reaching Me: Phone or Email is Fine
The reason I chose to specialize in marriage and couples counseling is….:

Helping you as a couple to achieve your relationship goals, I know this frees up a tremendous amount of energy that you can go on to devote to your lives more effectively. My skills and gifts as an experienced couples therapist multiply the ways I, and you, can make a difference in the world. When you, in your relationship, have a supportive, confident connection with each other, you’re then able to turn to your family, your work, your friends, and your community, to give back.

What you most enjoy about working with couples is….:

Seeing the relief and ease of couples when they move forward with clarity, and with the tools they need to succeed, makes me eager to work with each new couple. Feeling stuck in a relationship drains energy from life. It’s exciting and fulfilling to help you learn and use effective strategies to achieve your relationship and life goals together. My greatest enjoyment and fulfillment in therapy is working hard with couples on the path towards intentional, mindful connection with one another. I look forward to assisting you in developing a relationship that nourishes and enriches your life journey, and witnessing the experience of your growth together.

Are there kinds of couples or issues that you work with a lot?:

If you’re looking for tools and strategies for better communication and connection, this is the work I do the most. The research-based approach of Dr. John Gottman is a central component of the therapy I do. I am comfortable helping you understand the work it will take to improve, regain, or recreate a fulfilling connection, and find a path forward from where you are now, to where you’d really like to be together.

What are the steps to becoming a client in my practice?:

Leave a voice message at (206) 542-6148, or email me by clicking on the “Send Enquiry” button above. Let me know some times I can reach you, and I will call you for a free 15 minute consultation. I’ll learn what you’re looking for, answer your questions, and describe how I get started with couples. We will see if we’re a good fit for each other, and then go ahead and make an appointment when you’re ready to schedule.
